At Live in Love (LiL), we see knowledge of alcoholism and its effects as another tool to break the cycle of alcoholism. Current research suggests that children who grow up in a family where alcoholism is prevalent develop lower self-esteem and we see this finding as an opportunity for prevention. LiL has partnered with Le Red Balloon who will provide workshops to empower young men and women to fully love themselves and in turn love others.
Le Red Balloon founder, Skyler McCurine, is clear in her mission and mantra to guide others to be their best and most loved self. “At times our broken spirits lie beneath the rubble with the help of insecurity and ritual self-deprecation. However underneath these shambles and ruins lies the golden treasure that is your best self. Le Red Balloon is the fervent removal of life’s tarnish, revealing the singular brilliance that lies within every individual, showcasing its luster in the way it deserves to be seen.”
There is a ubiquitous theme amongst our two organizations: empowerment. Together, we will give Live in Love participants the confidence to own their future and declare their worth.
